This week, during Hour of Code, the students ACTUALLY had a go on the computer! The focus this week was on ‘pair programming’ where the students paired up to solve problems together. Through the puzzles, they learned to drag and drop blocks and the fundamentals of block programming which will help students using Snap! and Scratch.
Numeracy This week, continuing our focus on probability and chance, we explored “Cat and Mouse” another fantastic Maths 300 lesson. Literacy This week in literacy the students continued exploring poetry by thinking of the messages contained within and the poet’s purpose. They revisited My Country by Dorothea Mackeller and were introduced to A Mountain Station by Banjo Paterson.
