This morning we had 5 firemen from Carlton Fire Station visit the Prep Neighbourhood. We learnt about: The difference between a safe fire and unsafe fire How smoke alarms sound and why they start beeping If there is a fire at home and the smoke detector starts beeping, remember to ‘CRAWL DOWN LOW AND GO GO GO!’

District Athletics A reminder that the District Athletics competition is being held tomorrow. The bus will be leaving school at 9:15. On Thursday, out local postie, Chris, visited our neighbourhood to present to us about the postal system and share with us about his job as a postie. Chris showed us how the letters are sorted so that it is easier to deliver. Children had many questions to Chris including “how do you become a postie?”
