Wellbeing Session with Bronwyn

Bronwyn, the school’s social worker, has been conducting wellbeing sessions with the children. She started the session with a teamwork game involving straws. The children formed pairs and were required to move around the room while balancing 2 straws between their fingers or hands.  The activity was extended when they were asked to form a  larger group with another pair.  Bronwyn

Neighbourhood Buddy Reflection

Today the students reflected on the neighbourhood buddy program.  Students were placed into their buddy groups and were each given a question to answer about the  buddy program.  After spending some time brainstorming ideas, they then  came back onto the meeting room floor and shared their group’s responses to their allocated question.  These were then documented on the reflection board.

Visit to the Railway House – How and Why do Places Change?
