This term, the preps are taking part in coding workshops as an introduction to basics in computer programming. During the last two weeks, the students have been learning about algorithms through some ‘unplugged’ activities. They worked together to program Tomo the Robot to draw a smiley face and have taken part in activities where they programmed each other. These
ICT This week we continued our exploration of Google Drive. In a very short time, our students have become adept at organising and sharing their work. They have begun using Google Docs as a collaborative tool through working in small groups to write a poem. All students also now have a school email address.
