 The Preps have made some key discoveries through our pattern inquiry. We can see and hear patterns. They are on clothes, in stories, in songs and dances. The children observed patterns in the school environment – inside and outside. The key concept to understand about pattern is the repetition. A base pattern is made and then repeated

If you have a moment, please take the time to have a look through lost property, there’s lots of unclaimed items. Tomorrow afternoon, any unclaimed items will go to the school lost property collection. Items are donated to charity during the holidays.

We had an amazing time at Camp Manyung and everyone challenged themselves every day! Here are just two images of many that show the confidence and caring we were lucky to share in.  

This week the children have been involved in the animation workshop. We used the iPad to animate a clay character. We learned that to animate, we have to make sure that the iPad is kept still and we move the characters ever so slightly every time we take a shot. We are learning about stop-motion
