Literacy
In Literacy in week 2 the students began a focus on poetry. Through whole class discussions and independent work, students interpreted and experimented with imagery in poems, such as My Country by Dorothea Mackeller and The Silent Shearer by Banjo Paterson. The students also considered how guiding questions and data charts can be used to support their research and their independent writing.
