In preparation for Olympic Day, to be held on June 23 2020, the Australian Olympic Team is setting a challenge to the Australian people.
The Olympic Day has been celebrated annually since 1948. Held on every June 23, it aims at celebrating getting active and living the Olympic values. The day’s global theme “Move, Learn, Discover” celebrates teamwork, sportsmanship, and doing your best.
To encourage the Australian public and schools to promote health and active lifestyles and embody the Olympic Day spirit, the Australian Olympic Team is setting a challenge.
Decide on a goal today and plan out the steps you will do to achieve that goal by Olympic Day (23rd of June).
My goal is to do 10 skipping double-unders in a row. I will hopefully be able to achieve this by skipping every day and practicing my technique!
Alyce Wood, champion canoeist is learning to play a song on the ukelele. Watch this video to see what some other athletes are planning.
Print this off and stick it on your fridge, as a reminder of your goal!
