Students from Prep – Year 6 took part in our intensive swimming program at Carlton Baths over the past 2 weeks. I heard nothing but positive feedback from teachers and students about the delivery of the program.
Now that the weather is heating up, it is the perfect time to practice and continue to build water confidence! Like any skill, practice makes perfect so ensure your child has the opportunity to continue to grow as a swimmer by hitting your local pool.
Some added incentive for the Year 2s to practice, is that they have the opportunity to participate in our school swimming carnival next year. Before signing up for this, parents must sign off that their child can swim 50m without stopping. Hopefully, with a bit more practice there will be some new entrants from years 4 to 6.
