This week, the year ones took part in a water safety session for sport. Through role play, we transformed the gymnasium into the beach. We discussed various risks and hazards associated with swimming at the beach and also went through all the protective factors we need at the beach – swimming with an adult, being SunSmart and swimming between the flags at a patrolled beach.
