During term 4, some Prep Phys. Ed. sessions will be run by coaches from Youlden Parkville Cricket Club. The preps will be learning activities each week to strengthen their hand eye coordination and practice skills necessary for cricket (throwing, catching, batting and fielding). This experience also helps promote interest in the sport of cricket and strengthens the connection between schools and clubs in our community.
Students from Princes Hill Secondary are also working with the Preps this term, building their motor skills, spacial awareness and introducing them to new sports.
