2019 Annual Walkathon – Wednesday 8th May
Dear Parents and Carers,
Our annual Walkathon is a much anticipated community event and fundraiser for the school. This year the Walkathon will be held on Wednesday 8th May and will take place from 12.15-2.10. As a celebration afterwards, the children will be joining in a neighbourhood picnic on the lawns, (P-2 Mini Ovall) where they will enjoy a gelato dixie cup.
All flavours of gelato are gluten free. The strawberry gelato is also dairy free. Please note that due to shared equipment, the gelato manufacturer-Aurora foods, is unable to guarantee that the gelato is nut free. Please provide an alternative snack for your child in this instance. Please also advise your child’s home group teacher, thank you!
We would appreciate parent help to sort and distribute the gelato so please contact us at princes.hill.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au by Friday 4th May if you are able to assist! Please note you are required to have a current Working With Children check.
The Walkathon is held around the perimeter of the school and is supervised by the teachers. As the name suggests, this is a walkathon so running is not permitted!

Please print out the sponsorship form (attached), complete and return to your child’s home group teacher ASAP. If you are unable to print the form you can obtain one from your child’s neighbourhood. Students can be sponsored at a rate per lap or a fixed donation.
Kind regards,
