This afternoon your child will be coming home with their very own Reading Folder and inside this folder you will find their personal Reader’s Notebook.
Starting next week the children will select some books to take home during our weekly library session. However in the meantime we ask that the children choose their favourite picture book (or books!) from home to read and respond to in their Reader’s Notebook (see inside the cover for further instruction).
We ask that these folders come to school each day so that the teachers are able to keep track of each child’s at home reading.
