Hong Kong Cultural Exchange
In week one of next term, 12 of our students will be accompanied by Esme, Hannah and Jeff to Hong Kong for a cultural exchange with our sister school, Po Leung Kuk Luk Hing Too Primary School. As part of the exchange, our students will perform two songs, “Dots on the shells” and “World turning”. At today’s end of term assembly, we gave the PHPS community a sneak preview of our performance. Special mention to Callum on the drums, Aidan and Laurie on piano and Joe on violin!
We are all very excited about the trip. Hannah has created a wonderful research project for the students to undertake, based on “Art as Text”. This is an exciting continuation of this year’s visual art Inquiry.
