On Tuesday afternoon, the Preps viewed the first of a series of virtual learning sessions run by Jason Kelly, Koori Education Schools Officer.
The Preps joined the Year 2’s in their neighbourhood, and listened to Jason speak (in real time) about his Aboriginal heritage and connection to his country. It was interesting to learn how stories are passed down from generation to generation through art work. Jason told a story while we viewed his art piece.
It was amazing seeing other primary school children participate in the same learning session. It was a prime example of 21st century learning. We look forward to taking part in more of these in the weeks to come.
