Today marked the beginning of what is expected to be an exciting 8 weeks. Led by instructor Kofi, together we experimented with some of the local African instruments such as a caxixi and djembe. Over the coming weeks, the Preps’ will build on their skills in the lead up to a performance towards the end of term. Based on today’s session the end result is likely to be outstanding. In the words of Kofi, “Your drumming is fantastic and your timing is so on-point!” We can thank Deb for that and her magical musical teaching with the Preps’ each week.
We are all so excited to take on this journey together and we can’t wait to see the progress as each week continues!
