As part of our Sun Smart policy, students are required to wear broad-brimmed (minimum of 7cm brim) or legionnaire hats whenever they are outside (eg recess, lunch, sport, excursions) in Terms I & IV.
Students who do not have hats will be spending lunch and recess under the covered area outside the Art room / Year 2 Neighbourhood.
Sun protective clothing items are part of our school uniform. Shoe-string strapped tops and singlet tops are deemed unsuitable clothing as they provide inadequate protection.
Please check that your child’s hat is clearly named and ensure that it goes to school with them every day.
