FINAL REMINDER (17.10.16)- Halloween Disco – Friday 21st October As a great way to celebrate our fabulous school community and have a bit of fun before the hard work of the Bazaar.  We’re having our annual Halloween Disco on Friday 21st  October between 6-8pm. Dress up in your best Halloween costume, bring a picnic and a blanket

Tabloid sport is coming up. Permission slips were distributed on Friday – blue forms. If you have a red paid stamp on the form it means that payment has come from the excursion levy. Otherwise, payment details have been attached to the form. Our Ancient Rome Celebration last Thursday was such a wonderful day. A huge thank you to Anne Maree and Hannah for all their hard work organising the event. Thank you to parents for bringing such delicious food to share. Thank you to the parent helpers who assisted setting up to Italian feast!

The final Prep celebration will be on Wednesday the 7th of December. It will be Grandparents Day – there will be singing, sharing of our learning and a morning tea. Parents and special friends are also welcome. We hope to see you there.  

Children from Prep – Year 2 can sign up for the Talent Quest in the Gymnasium on Wednesday 19th of October. Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays in the Gym up until the Bazaar (13th November).    

For those who have not yet attended our annual PHPS BAZAAR, one of the highlights of the day is the Talent Quest, where our students have an opportunity to present a special talent to the community.   Poster: Harriet (Year 2 Neighbourhood)

On Thursday all students will be involved in an Ancient Roman games day. In multi age house groups, students will investigate the culture and lifestyle of Ancient Romans and in particular discover how the children of that time played and amused themselves. The Preps will be informed of their group tomorrow. There will be a Roman banquet
