On Monday, the Preps participated in shared reading of ‘My Sloppy Tiger Goes to School’. They were asked to drew a sequence of events from the story and explain what happened in the story. Being able to retell a story that they have listened to is an important part of reading comprehension.

On Tuesday, the preps went over to the year 2 neighbourhood for our second session with Jason Kelly. We listened to stories about the star constellations – Orion’s Belt and The Seven Sisters. Some Prep and Year 2 students asked questions.
