Returning to school after months apart, the 3/4s have been focused on sharing our individual experiences of remote learning. One of the ways we’ve done this connected with our excursion to the immigration museum and Sandridge Bridge in Term 1, where we explored some of the countries that have contributed to Australian multiculturalism. We noticed that the flags from these places are often filled with icons and symbols that represent important aspects of the culture they come from. In response, we have been creating our own flags to represent ourselves as creative learners, friends, artists, adventurers, and everything in between. Emphasising some of the positive changes that have come about, we each looked at our individual capabilities and how they have grown through the course of the pandemic.
