Science in the the neighborhoods

Today’s blog post written by Jimmy Clayton. Thanks Jimmy!

Yesterday In 3/4 N1 we did a science experiment. What we did was we had two jars: in one there was freshwater and in the other we had salt water and we put ice in both of the jars. My prediction for the science experiment was that the ice would melt normally in the freshwater and it would not melt as quickly in the saltwater. We had saltwater and freshwater because it links to climate change. It links to climate change because the sea is salt water and it is good that it is salt water because if it was fresh water the icebergs would melt even quicker!
