Performing hits close to the hearts of all our 3/4 students. We enjoy exploring our ideas through performance and presentation each week and are working to build our understanding of the different ways to express our ideas, creations and calls to action.
This term we have been lucky enough to have had two fantastic performances come to PHPS. In week one we had Bell Shakespeare’s performance of the Story of Romeo and Juliet, and then last week we had Opera Australia’s performance of The Barber of Seville.
These opportunities have been a wonderful chance for the students to see professional and classical performances, stretching their understanding of how to use performance to communicate stories, feelings and ideas. We are looking forward to taking these experiences into our future performances and growing as story tellers.
