Our excursion to Colony 1770-1861 at the NGV is next Tuesday. We still need a few more parent helpers to come along with us, so please get in touch if you are available! We will be catching the tram to Federation Square in the morning, and arriving back at school in the afternoon. Please also don’t forget to bring in your permission form on Monday.
This week, students were asked to make sure that they had begun to research their project during Projects and Provocations, and find five dates with a sentence describing the important change or fact that happened on this date. Thank you to all of the parent helpers who came in to help with research this week! We looked at a calendar as a whole class this afternoon to see how many weeks we have left to work on our timeline project. There is still lots of time until the Expo, which is on Tuesday in the last week of term. Students have been asked to bring in (or email) any work (hardcopy or USB) that they have been doing at home on Monday, and will be sharing in homegroups what they have learned so far, and what stage they are at in their research.
