The end of this term will see two of our long-serving members of staff retire.
After 28 years at Princes Hill Primary School Maree will be retiring as the Business Manager on March 29thand Geoff Ratcliffe will be retiring as the Phys Ed teacher after 18 years service to the students of Princes Hill.
Maree has experienced significant change in her position, especially in the 1990s as Victorian Government school management became more autonomous. She gained valuable experience and has continued to develop her role as Business Manager which has enhanced the delivery of our learning programs to all students over her time here. A new Business Manager, Amanda Baseggio has been appointed and she started transitioning with Maree on the 5th March.
Geoff has been both a classroom and Physical Education teacher and we know that the sporting events led by Geoff over the many years have been a favourite part of many children’s learning experience at PHPS.
Together with the staff, students and parents of Princes Hill we would like to sincerely thank Maree and Geoff for their dedication to their respective roles.
There will be a farewell assembly for Geoff on Friday 23rd March so we would love as many families past and present to attend his farewell. Messages of gratitude to both Maree and Geoff can be sent to:firstname.lastname@example.org and will be passed on.
