Memorable Event Interview

In our workshops last week, students were starting to identify events that are in the past, present and future.  On Wednesday and Thursday this week, we are going to ask students to identify a significant/memorable/important event in their past that they will be able to complete a writing piece and timeline about.  We are asking students to ‘interview’ their parents about this event – to help fill in the missing gaps!

Some examples of what this event might be include:

  • an awesome birthday party
  • a big family holiday
  • a medical emergency
  • a significant change in their life (baby sibling, moving country etc)

It would be really helpful to discuss with your child when it happened, where it happened, who was there and the order of events.  Students should feel free to bring in any pictures they have of the event (if emailing them to us works, please do).

We look forward to hearing about these amazing events from the students and sharing them with you when we are done
