It is hard to believe it is Term 4! We hope everyone had a lovely holiday.
A few important things to remember about this term:
- Our Sun Smart policy states that hats are compulsory when UV levels are at a rating of 3 and over. Every student at our school must have a wide brimmed hat (no caps). The Preps need to keep their hat in their locker to ensure that they always have it at school. We recommend that students have a hat with a cord so that they can fasten it and doesn’t fly off when they run around. Please ensure that hats are named. If children wish to wear their hat to after care or on the walk home, perhaps a second hat can be kept in their school bag. Sunscreen will be provided in the neighbourhood for those who need it.
- Identity and culture sharing – students are encouraged to bring in an artefact about their culture and heritage
- Reading folders – all folders must come to school on a Thursday.
- PMP will running this term. The sign up sheet will be on the parent notice board
- Life Education is happening next week. Please ensure forms are returned and pay if necessary.
- We sent an enormous bag of clothing to the Op Shop during the holidays. So many items of clothes were unnamed and therefore could not be returned to students. Please name your children’s garments, particularly if they are known to misplace their belongings.
