This Friday instead of a whole school assembly each neighbourhood is holding their own assembly. This is an opportunity for the Year Two Neighbourhood to come together to share and perform in a more intimate setting. It’s also a chance for students who may be a little shy to perform in front of a very large audience to share their skills and talents with their peers. Parents are invited to attend!
Students might wish to play a song on an instrument they have been learning, sing, perform a dance or play, share a joke or magic trick, or share another talent with the class. We’ve asked students to stick to a minute or so each, and let their teachers know if they would like to perform at assembly by Wednesday afternoon. Our open mic afternoon will be held after recess at the end of the day however we will confirm the starting time later in the week. Hope to see you there!
