The students have been engaging in some animation workshops this term. We have learned that there are some important rules to follow when making animation. These include:
- Keep the camera still (and if working on a mat, keep the mat still too!)
- Move things we are animating a bit at a time
- Make sure our hands are out of the way while taking the photos
Animation is a wonderful collaborative activity that allows students to think critically and plan ahead. It is also another way to allow their imagination to be realised. Keep animating preps!
