During today’s wellbeing workshop the preps took part in mindful drawing. In this workshop they were asked to take some time to focus on an object in their case their chosen animal and drew it as mindfully as possible. We began by unpacking the term to best understand the intention of the workshop, once achieved the preps began their creations. Whilst they worked, relaxing sounds played in the background to aid their concentration. Their focus throughout the experience was to remain as calm as possible and when distractions appear simply bring the attention back to their animal and continue drawing.
It was wonderful to see how focused and still each of the preps could be, not to mention their great work!
