Welcome back to what will be a very busy term 3. We have a lot to look forward to this term including:
- Digicon (Digital Leaders) 27th & 28th July
- Interschool Sport District Finals Tee Ball and Netball (Dates to be confirmed)
- School Athletics Sports 17th August
- District Athletics Sports 7th September
- Tournament of Minds 19th-20th August
- Canberra Camp 21st – 25th August
We are also going to be working hard to create our movies. This week our learning focus is understanding how movies are made. We will be watching extracts of movies to explore different aspects of film making, such as the roles required to produce a film. In English, students are exploring the connection between the plot in their favourite movies and planning narratives.
Students are setting their learning goals in maths for the term. We are also looking at the maths used at Wimbledon, including finding the area of tennis courts and analysing data from the first two rounds.
Our trip to Canberra is in week 6, a reminder that consent forms and full payment is due on Monday 24th July.
