This Friday instead of a whole school assembly each neighbourhood is holding their own assembly. This is an opportunity for the Year Two Neighbourhood to come together to share, perform, and celebrate in a more intimate setting. It’s also a chance for students who may be a little shy to perform in front of a very large audience to share their skills and talents with their peers. Parents are invited to attend!
Students might wish to play a song on an instrument they have been learning, sing, perform a dance or play, share a joke or magic trick, or share another talent with the class. We’ve asked students to stick to a minute each, and let their teachers know if they would like to perform at assembly by Wednesday afternoon. At this stage we’re looking at starting the assembly at 2:45pm. Hope to see you there!
