Students are having a blast working through their Maths Daily 3 Provocations this week. Students have the opportunity to engage mathematically in the following areas:
Maths by Myself: Setting new Mathematics SMART Goals and providing evidence of their mathematics learning, daily problem solving questions and challenges (using addition, subtraction, multinational and division operations) The challenges are multiple choice questions that students need to solve as part of our NAPLAN training.
Maths with Someone: Playing with a partner or in a small group multiplication board games, making times table fortune teller chatter boxes.
Maths Writing: Create your own multiple choice maths questions and TRASH TALK statistics analysis.
Our Maths Daily 3 Provocations change over fortnightly, depending on the mathematical needs, skills and understandings of the students.
