The Preps each counted the letters in their name, made a unifix stick with the number, then placed their unifix stick and name tag with the numeral.

We found out that

  • There are more names with 4 letters in Red group
  • There are more names with 5 letters in Yellow group
  • There are more names with 6 letters in Blue group

During provocation time, preps have made further discoveries: 

4 letter names are the most common in our neighbourhood.

 

Names that begin with E and S are the most common in our neighbourhood.

 

There are more boys than girls in our neighbourhood.
