We can hardly wait to get to know you! As part of an ongoing workshop, the Preps have been designing and creating their very own “Me Bag”.
Please help your child choose 2 items to put in their me bag (name labelled). Aim for things that are really special to them, not necessarily their newest toy.
Some suggestions include:
- A photo of their family
- A photo of things they like to do (eg. a mini soccer ball)
- A picture/drawing of their house
- Their favourite story
To help you child prepare to have conversations about their special things with other children, ask them to verbalise why they chose that item, to help them explain why it is special. This will help them feel a little at ease should they experience any nerves.
Please drop off the bag in a tub which will be provided in each of the three spaces.
