The Preps had their final celebration of learning last week – Grandparents’ Day. It was lovely to see so many of the Prep’s grandparents, family members and special friends come together to see celebrate a wonderful year of learning.
We began with 3 songs – Funga Alafia, Postman Pat and You’ve got a friend in me.
Following their fabulous performance in the courtyard, they proudly shared their portfolios and took on the role of ‘tour guide’ as they shared their learning spaces.
The morning concluded with a feast of delicious treats in the gym foyer.
A huge thank you to the parents who assisted during the morning – setting up, serving the morning tea, cleaning up after the event and moving chairs from the gymnasium to the neighbourhood for our ‘cinema’ experience. Your time and effort was very much appreciated!
