The Preps have been working hard on a published letter to their buddy to say thank you for their care and support throughout the year. Each group began the first writing workshop by brainstorming all the things that the buddies have done with us and supported us in.
Each Prep wrote a draft letter which was edited by the teacher. Through conferencing and discussing their draft with the teacher, they were equipped with feedback to produce an edited published piece to send to their buddy.
The have worked hard to take on board feedback regarding the presentation of their letter, referred to the suggested spelling changes and decorated their letter and envelope.
The Preps are really looking forward to personally delivering the mail to their buddy.
