We have noticed that quite a few students have been coming to school for the last few weeks without their hats. Here is just a reminder about the school policy in regards to hats:
“The school has a Sun Smart Policy which encourages responsible attitudes towards protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. In accordance with our School Policy, all students are required to wear hats (either a broad brimmed hat or legionnaire style hat – no basketball caps) during Terms 1 and 4.”
Students will need to bring in a hat EVERY DAY – even if there is no sun and rain (so, typical Melbourne weather).
If in the event students have not got their hats, they will be asked to sit in front of the year 1 neighbourhood/art room for play time.
