The students will participate in three musical and dance experiences, exposing them to the rich culture of Italian opera and traditional dance: Tarantella workshop with Rosa Voto (prep-2, Monday 3rd June and 3-6 Tuesday 4th June), an opera singing workshop with Oliver Mann ( prep-2 Monday 17th June and 3-6 Tuesday 18th June), culminating with Opera Australia’s performance of the much loved Barbiere di Seviglia (Barber of Seville) on Friday 2nd August. These events will be supported and explored in Italian and music sessions, to further embed a memorable cultural experience.
