It was an exciting but ultimately disappointing day for our (previously) unstoppable Teeball team who travelled to Mill Park for the Regional championships. The competition was just too good! To the credit of our students though they were satisfied with their efforts and philosophical about the outcome, so they deserve great praise for that! A

After consideration, we decided to cancel the Athletics at the Coburg Track and conduct trials at school. We would have much preferred to have the day at the Track, but the weather forecast was too ominous. Our Teeball team are now Division Champions and will play in the Regional championships on thursday the 17th of August. This clashes with our School Aths day so the children have had to make a tough choice about which to compete in. Because of the clash we need to thank some parents who will accompany

Nina, Ana, Pippa and Hugo competed at this event which includes all the schools in the Northern Metro Region including places as far away as Eltham, Kyneton etc! The competition is tough of course, Results for our students were Hugo 21st, Pippa 42nd, Nina DNF (after dizziness), and Ana 40th. Great effort all of you!

We are very proud to announce the Captains and Vice Captains for 2017. I’m sure they will do a fantastic job in organising and encouraging their fellow students! We will be participating in this at a date to be determined, probably in late term 1 or in term 2. The students will practise skipping and fund raise prior to our “Jump off” day. They will be either learning to skip/improve/learn some tricks! It should be a lot of fun and extremely healthy too!
