This term, the Year 2 Neighbourhood will be going on two excursions! In Week 4, on Thursday 10th August, we will visit the Melbourne Museum. We will deepen our learning from last term surrounding how we make connections to places, indigenous artwork and dreamtime stories by investigating the culture and traditions of Victoria’s Aboriginal people.
The Intensive Swimming Program for 2017 starts on Monday 7th August. Two forms have been sent home with students today (a blue form with payment details, and a white form indicating the times and dates of the swimming sessions). As you know the Klim Swim intensive swimming program is fast approaching. The swimming expression of interest forms were due back Monday. Unfortunately, late forms are unable to secure a position due to Geoff having confirmed the numbers on Monday afternoon.
