‘Although there are many things that are different between our cultures, there are many things that connect us.’
Last week the children responded to ‘what was the most meaningful part of the day for you’.
The children chose their favourite experiences and shared in some detail why those experiences meant so much to them.
We gathered the children’s stories and unpacked the common themes. Some of the those experience include:-
Being connected to others
- interacting together
- celebrating together
- sharing experiences together
- having a shared purpose
Being connected to ourselves (discovering what we are passionate about gives us meaning)
- engaging in activities that are purposeful, engaging and rewarding, and nourishing the individual child, igniting imagination, creativity, exploration and curiosity about the world.
