Welcome back Year 1 students to our online home learning for term 2. This is a very different situation that we find ourselves in and we can see that everyone is doing the very best they can.
The year one teachers have been incredibly proud of all the children and their families for supporting us in making this all possible. Online we have spoken a lot about ‘extending our passion projects’, extending and deeping our passion projects is part of the PHPS philosophy and the children are familiar with how we work.
A project at school can have many components, as you may have noticed during the information day earlier in the year. The concept of Welcome was explored through many avenues including story writing, plays, art, cards, book marks, badges, shops etc,. Please feel free to develop your children’s passion projects by extending them in their writing, reading and numeracy knowledge.
