Ciao a tutti e benvenuti a 2020!
A warm welcome back to studenti e famiglie, and of course to our wonderful new prep students! As we reconnect with the Italian language here at PHPS we will focus on ways in which we make one another feel welcome through the Italian language, through greetings and gestures, through body language and customs. We will embed routines that promote a sense of community and safety in using the Italian language, through circle work, games, conversations and other shared experiences.
This term we will focus on the various greetings used in Italian, for different times of the day and in both formal and informal situations. We will reconnect with ways of introducing ourselves and expressing feelings and emotions; using these in interactions with one another.
