This term we continue to provoke the children’s thinking by presenting a different story about the environment. Many of our discussions have focused on questions such as “I wonder why people want to use so much palm oil?” and “Who is responsible for all the rubbish in the ocean?” These questions have made us investigate our own behaviour, by looking at what is in our lunch boxes and what we are throwing out in the rubbish bins at school. This led us to ask the question:
“Why do we bring reusable bottles to school?”
