Today the whole school was lucky enough to watch a wonderful performance of The Barber of Seville.
Here are the impressions of the Year 2 neighbourhood:
- The opera was amazing. My favourite part was when Aunty Berta polished the “statues”. (Bessie)
- I thought the opera was funny! (Charlie)
- The singing was incredible, as was the acting. (Claudia)
- The costumes were amazing. (Molly)
- The set was very beautiful. (Robert)
- I liked it when the Aunty Berta fell asleep after drinking the medicine because it was funny as she snored. (Lilian)
- I liked it when Aunty Berta smacked the silly soldier with the scroll of paper. (Mia)
- My favourite part of the opera was when the performers told the singing teacher that she was sick when she actually wasn’t. (Lachlan)
- I enjoyed looking at the set design because it was very detailed. (Hugo)
- I enjoyed at when Count Almaviva was pretending to be the singing teacher but he looked like Harry Potter. (Wren)
