This morning, the preps invited our grandparents to come to our learning neighbourhood to share with us our learning we have been experiencing throughout this year.
And what a wonderful celebration it was! We began with the song ‘What Do The Preps Do Do’ song which the preps composed with our wonderful music teacher Deb Kayser, especially for the occasion. We also performed our favourite Japanese songs ‘Hiraita, Hiraita’ and ‘Kira Kira Boshi’. We then invited our grandparents to explore our neighbourhood and share our learning. There were our portfolios, where we have displayed our best works. We had on display some of the storyboards for the plays we worked on in term 3. We also had some work we are currently working on for the Big Book of Preps. To top it all, we showed our Planet School movie on the big screen.
We ended our celebration with a morning tea.
We would like to thank all our wonderful grandparents for coming to our neighbourhood. You gave our preps a lot of joy.
