This week the Year 2 students have been out getting their hands dirty in the garden. After discussing how and why seeds germinate, the students headed out to the vegetable garden and planted some climbing beans.
Using a ruler the students made sure the seeds were between 4-5 cm under the ground. They then gave them a water to ensure they have sufficient moisture.
Understanding where our food comes from will help ensure a more sustainable future.
