During the week the students have been investigating shapes and their features, looking at how many sides each shape has and if the shape has corners. We spent time making and cutting shapes, putting them in our workbooks and labelling them.
On Tuesday we went on a “Shapes Hunt” around the school, discovering shapes in all different places. We discovered triangles, squares, rectangles, circles and so much more!
Over the next few weeks we are going to be considering all the possibilities the shapes have given us. How many shapes are there in Princes Hill Primary School? Are there more squares or triangles?
