Monday ended with a bang, when the students found out their new buddies for the week! The cheering that came from every single student made our hearts swell. The idea of ‘The Buddy Project’, is that all students gradually become familiar with each other, and begin to develop a larger friendship circle. Students spent the afternoon talking about their narratives they are working on for their research projects. The students are encouraged to check in with their buddies during the week, maybe spend some time together in and out of the neighbourhood. Hopefully finding some great things in common!
