We had a great day today making art with robots…it allowed us to stay clean (for the most part). We applied paint to the canvas then using the Spheros created patterns, lines and shapes. Students were able to identify circles, triangles, and squares. Felix noted that there were smaller shapes that made up larger shapes. We used the primary colours to explore colour combinations. It was a lot of fun and because we had three robots in operation we each got a decent time creating. This was our first attempt, it will be interesting to see where we might take it, aesthetically it looks like the brushwork of John Olsen.
Some students were inspired by the wet paint on the previous groups attempts and used smaller paper to lift the designs.
