Yesterday students brought home an information note about our upcoming photography session for the cookbook and details about printing. The photography session has been organized for the morning of MONDAY 4th SEPTEMBER, so that families have the opportunity to make their recipes over the weekend and bring a sample of it on Monday if they wish to have it photographed for the cookbook. We have asked students to return the note by Friday 1st September (the earlier the better, so that we can get an idea of numbers for the photographer). The note also included information about printing for the cookbook as we are hoping to confirm pre-order numbers. To make printing feasible, we require a confirmation of selling at least 60 copies before the end of this term. Payment will be finalized once they arrive back from the printers next term. We currently estimate that the cost per cookbook will be $15. It will be 142 pages, A5, full colour, with a ‘perfect bound’ spine and soft cover. Each student’s recipe and artwork will be laid out across 2 pages. We have a draft copy of the cookbook in the neighbourhood that will be updated each week as we add artwork and photographs to it – come in and have a look!
